The Red Alert Series was the first RTS I ever played starting with
Red Alert and Counter Strike my dad bough back in 1998 for our PC.
Still one of the best games made. The
Rmastered verison is a must have for RTS fans.

I used to play multiplayer every Friday
after school and just go until the sun came up. No sleep, just middle‑school brain rot and matches back‑to‑back.
This game is
responsible for so many weekends where I showed up to class on Monday
looking like a raccoon.
RA2 is also the reason my computer monitor was taken away for an entire
month once: I stayed up all night playing online with friends when we
had family plans the next morning. Worth it, honestly.
The 2nd ever GeoCities site I made was a
Red Alert 2 fan page called "Alert! Alert!". I was 13 and it was much
worse than this page, if you can believe it.
